We’re deeply thankful for everyone who has walked alongside Cambodia Impact this year. As you reflect with us on the lives transformed, we invite you to watch our new short video, What is Hope, for a glimpse into the lives of our Cambodian friends as you’ve helped us make a difference in their daily lives.
We invite you to help us finish the year strong and make a year-end gift to support our ongoing work in Cambodia. Your gift will enable us to continue this great work and assist in bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost while assisting them with the basic physical necessities of life.
Unique to this year is the war that broke out while Linda and I were there in late July and continues to devastate Cambodia today. More than 400,000 Cambodians have been driven from their homes along the border, in fear for their lives as bombs continue to fall. We’ve provided meals, water, shelter, and medicine, and will continue to share the message of hope found in Jesus Christ as we look for the most effective ways to assist the people most affected by displacement and fear.
At the close of another remarkable year, we are filled with gratitude for all that God has done. With your prayers and financial support we have cared for vulnerable women, protected children, strengthened families, and brought practical help and spiritual hope to some of Cambodia’s most vulnerable. From sharing the Gospel message to assisting children in getting an education to supporting house churches, this year has been a powerful testament to what compassionate hearts and faithful partnership can accomplish.
A new convert to Christ living and working at the Garbage Pile, a municipal garbage dump inhabited by the least and the lost, the most vulnerable of Cambodian society. Salvaging plastic to sell to wholesellers provides the basic necessities of life of about $2 per day. The joy on her face tells her story of redemption and hope!
